  • I'm both hopefull and skeptical.  Hopefull because less layoffs and economic indicaters showing some hope.

  • What is amazing with some of these Posts is the lack of knowledge of history, misinterpretation of the speech, and genuine feelings of anger or extreme dislike of the President for clearly political reasons or radical motives.  The Mulims distrust of Christians arose because of the Crusades.

  • It appears  easier and less expensive for a foreigner to cross our border than an American citizen. Mexicans on the Southern Border only need to show their visitor pass whereas American's need expensive documents (Passport, etc).

  • 1. Hummer was only for Snobs who wanted to flaunt their wealth or pretend they were wealthy.  Much better other SUV's exist. 2. Saturn was a great car & idea that GM turned their back on.

  • "God helps those who help themselves" and that doesn't mean doing nothing or being ignorant. In addition, no one in their right mind could believe a small child is capable of making their own decision.

  • I sympathize with Carolyn, Connie, and others.  Unfortunately we are a "Capitalistic" economy/society which is designed to protect businesses and the powerful & wealthy, not us "sheep" working class. Has been that way from the beginning and will never change.

  • Part 2 Happy that Katlin & others got the Federal job, even if is temporary for a year. Any job is better than no job. Hope her's becomes permanent.

  • Somewhat optimistic although economy is not turning around yet. It is only worsening more slowly. Latest jobs numbers a bit misleading as one time temporary Federal Gov't  hiring reduced layoffs from 631,000 down to less than 600,000.
